This time we focus on the #Xer generation
Joy Division, “Exercise One” from Still, 1981 (Posthumous)
So my thought here is A) The title contains “xer” - haha, ain’t I clever - and 😎 #JoyDivision and the whole spectrum of #PostPunk hit just as the first GenXers were coming of age.
While Joy Division flickered only briefly in their dark world until Ian Curtis left us, the stark landscapes they left behind endure.
