Very rarely, but I do study Tai Chi. I have been practicing for about 4 years now. Lee has done some translations that I have enjoyed.
Just opened registration for our Tai Chi classes that start in Jan. A new beginning class as well as all our regular schedule of classes.
Since this is the only social media I'm on, I guess the place to post it is here!

@jqheywood@mastodon.social @dogriley what awesome memories. I adapted his hamburger recipe and make my martinis using his vermouth ice cubes, brilliant. As far as turkey goes I am a strict Martha Stewart guy.

In my next video, when mentioning how Trump wants to use Gerrymandering to win the US midterm elections, should I explain how Gerrymandering works?
@randahl@mastodon.social Why not, since a good deal of your followers don't come from the United States? You might also explain the expression "dummymandering" (poorly executed gerrymandering that unintentionally delivers a district to the other side). Other topics might include "racial gerrymanders" v. "political gerrymanders."

Sometimes you have to eat like a peasant. It's good for the soul. Today was a bastardization of escarole in chicken broth with cannellini and potatoes. The escarole looked like shit at the market today, so I'm using turnip green leaves. No pancetta, so I made some ciccioli from bits of fatback I had lying around, in which I fried minced garlic, diced potatoes, and well chopped turnip greens. Added the broth and beans with a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese and added some reserved egg wash from last night's cod. Pretty nice, considering. Would have preferred my Mom's, but fuck it, work with what you've got. #soup
