@stux atheist here too. Empathy. Decency. Thinking and self reflection. It’s not rocket science. I think I also read a study about kids raised as atheists kinder and more ethical than those raised with religion. I need to dig that up. So don’t quote me on it. I may be misremembering the details.
If you're only a good person because of the fear of god, then you're not a good person. You're an asshole on a leash.

@stux I love how some random person years ago described for me why we cannot believe in "catholics have to be good because of this past death stuff":
Catholic doesnt have to be good. He can sin, go to priest, tell him his sins, and get a blessing.
Atheist cant be blessed for his sins so he have to be good all the time.
