@kakape this bit of misinformation is particularly insidious because it would be completely irrelevant if parents choosing between an autistic child and a dead one found that as easy of a choice as it should be
Like right now the choice is a kid who's likely not to survive to adulthood versus a kid who is, and they have the same amount of autism either way
But even if vaccines caused autism it just seems so obviously worth it to me
Idk maybe I'm just an autistic adult who likes being alive
@kakape @Lazarou ok america, YOUR vaccines cause autism. The same drug given to anyone outside your borders will never, nor could ever, but if administered in your tiny brain country they will immediately give you autism. Are you happy now? No? Better continue waiting for someone else to solve the trump problem for you. It's the american way.
@kakape Studies have also not ruled out the possibility that RFKJr was sent from the planet Thrunk to exterminate all humans.
@kakape Interesting, I did not found any hint about brain worms and the detrimental effect on cognitive function of the brain. As we have such a perfet case study ...
And if you’re wondering: That asterisk is apparently what voting for RFK jr.’s confirmation gets you…
@kakape Who chairs that committee?
This messaging is going to do massive generational harm even if spread just for the three more years of this presidency — but if that Senate committee can hold the line on HHS's worst excesses maybe the damage can be limited.
Not going to go through the whole thing, but to give just one example:
The site quotes the 2012 IOM report as an authoritative source for the limitations of many studies on MMR.
But that same report found strong and convincing evidence to reject a link between MMR and autism.
come over, warm up. coffee?
