Looking down at a subway platform. Lots of people are waiting for the train on the right side. The left side is empty. Everything is framed by concrete, arching over the top and straight below.

@dillyd The rail configuration is different, but the platform looks similar to some here.

When I see the bare concrete structure I am reminded how many of our platforms, tunnels and stations are decorated with colour, art and design features :)

@dillyd Curious based on your description if that is pretty crowded for where you are. Having been on the DC metro a fair bit, that looks not bad at all. :)
